Along with Kuldeep Yadav, Chahal has outfoxed South African batsmen in the recently-concluded six ODIs. The duo, together, claimed 33 wickets in the series. Chahal also claimed Farhaan Beherdien's wicket when the batsman looked in good touch in the T20I series opener in Johannesburg. Nonetheless, one could spot Chahal wearing glasses while fielding in Sunday's encounter. His father, KK Chahal, revealed the reason behind the change:

A precautionary measure

"Before going on the tour to South Africa, Yuzvendra was advised by an eye specialist to wear glasses occasionally. So, though he does not wear them while bowling or batting, he does so while fielding. His eye sight is not very weak but he was advised to use glasses when he underwent medical tests which were compulsory before taking up his new job as an Income Tax inspector. Yuzvendra will be joining office in Delhi as soon as he returns from South Africa," Chahal's father told Mid Day.

Chahal would hope for another match-winning performance in the penultimate T20I, on Wednesday, to seal the series for India.
