Fire at CricketCountry office building; regular website work will resume shortly
Fire at CricketCountry office building

May 27, 2014
Fire on the sixth floor of the B Wing of BSEL Tech Park, Vashi, Mumbai, the building where the CricketCountry office is located, brought work to a standstill. Luckily there were no casualties at CricketCountry, which is on the 12th floor, but due to the thick smoke enveloping the floors above, the entire staff at CricketCountry and India.com had to endure anxious moments before fire brigade evacuated them to safety.
The building will not be inhabitable pending further advice from the fire brigade. As a result, the outflow of news from CricketCountry has been temporarily suspended, but rest assured we are doing all we can to resolve this very quickly.
CricketCountry will be up and running again as soon as possible, and the reportage of tonight’s Indian Premier League (IPL) Qualifier 1 match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) will definitely take place.
