Gautam Gambhir was dismissed in Kolkata Knight Riders’ run-chase of 161 against Sunrisers Hyderabad in their last league game of the IPL 2014. Kolkata have to chase this down in 15.2 overs to move to second spot and in five overs, they are 43 for one. Manish Pandey and Robin Uthappa are in the centre.

Dale Steyn came on to bowl the fourth over and got one or two to move away. Gambhir then played one past third-man and it went for a four. Jason Holder was brought on for the fifth over and he was flicked to fine-leg, who was inside the ring, and they got a couple of runs for that. Gambhir then pulled one over square-leg for a six and it was a no-ball. The free hit was smashed by Gambhir for a four over cover and it was another no-ball. Off the next free hit, Gambhir got two runs as he hit it in the air over the off-side.

Holder then got his man as Gambhir inside edged one and it hit the stumps. It was some respite for Holder as he had a terrible over until then.

Earlier, Kolkata captain Gautam Gambhir won the toss and chose to bowl first. Kolkata made no changes to the side but Hyderabad brought in Jason Holder and Srikkanth Aniruddha. In a stop start affair, Hyderabad managed to score 160 for seven.
