In the 28th match of the Indian Premier League, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are in firm control of proceeding against  Delhi Daredevils (DD), with the score at 128 for one in 15 overs.

After Robin Uthappa departed for in the 12th over after amassing yet another 100-run partnership with Gautam Gambhir, Manish Pandey came to the crease and played a couple of fine shots. Gambhir, meanwhile brought up a much needed half-century, which received a big round of applause from his home crowd.  Laxmi Ratan Shukla bowled the 14th over of the match and Manish Pandey pierced the field with expert precision for a boundary. There was some delay in proceedings after an insect went into Gambhir’s eye.

Kevin Pietersen brought on Shami and there was more misery for Delhi as Nadeem played to run Gambhir out. It was not the first time the Kolkata captain was lucky today and at the moment, Delhi need only 33 of 30 balls.
