George Bailey was the lone hope for Kings XI Punjab against Kolkata Knight Riders and in IPL 2014 and the Australian played a couple of lusty blows to justify that. Then Rishi Dhawan followed suit and played a sweep that reached the ropes after briefly touching Piyush Chawla’s hands. Mitchell Johnson then came came and wacked a six.

The wicket of Glenn Maxwell had unsettled Kings XI Punjab and the marauder David Miller was struggling against the spin of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014. Wriddiman Saha was the man that Punjab was banking on to score runs. Manish Pandey had the chance to seal the game for the home team. He made a brilliant attempt at point of the danger-man Miller but the ball bounced off his hands. Saha got a move with the score with a huge six over mid-wicket.

Robin Uthappa once again provided a good platform for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP)  in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014 Qualifier 1.Mitchell Johnson, bowling the second over of the Qualifier, drew first blood when he accounted for Gautam Gambhir early. After bowling a very good late-swinging delivery to Gambhir first ball, Johnson pitched one short and had Gambhir pull straight to George Bailey at short midwicket
