Graeme Smith congratulates India on winning ICC Champions Trophy 2013

South Africa’s Test team captain Graeme Smith congratulated India for winning the ICC Champions Trophy 2013, saying India were the best team in the tournament.

“Best team in tournament congrats @msdhoni and India,” tweeted Smith, after India beat England by five runs to win the final Champions Trophy at Edgbaston on Sunday.

India had set a target of 130 in 20 overs, which the hosts failed to chase down, finishing 124 for eight in the rain-marred match.

India were also the joint winners, with Sri Lanka, of the 2002 Champions Trophy.
