Former South African skipper Graeme Smith reckons that India's real challenge as the best side awaits in South Africa, against their fast bowlers. India's 1-0 win over Sri Lanka earlier this week marked their ninth consecutive Test series win.

"The pace and skills of our bowlers here will be the real test for them. It will be really interesting," Sport24 quoted Smith. He also mentioning that India's pacers will have to excel in order to give the visitors a chance.

"India's own pace attack will also have to do well in order for them to have success here," Smith added.

[link-to-post url="https://www.cricketcountry.com/news/india-have-great-chance-of-winning-test-series-in-south-africa-believes-rahul-dravid-667223"]

Rahul Dravid, however, believes that Kohli's men can do well in South Africa. Earlier this week, Dravid had said, "I am looking forward to the next couple of months in cricket and watching the Indian team playing in South Africa and I believe that they are going to do well."

India carry a tag of being 'poor visitors', and they have never won a series in South Africa. Beginning from January 5, India and South Africa will play 3 Tests, 6 ODIs and 3 T20Is.
