Wriddhiman Saha s maiden Irani Cup century and his timely unbeaten 203 partnership with Cheteshwar Pujara have inched Rest of India (ROI) toward victory, ending Day Four’s play at 266 for 4. His partnership with Pujara consisted of 24 fours and 3 sixes. Meanwhile, Pujara, who top scored in the first innings with 86, is an unbeaten on 83. ROI need 113, while Gujarat 6 wickets to win the Irani Cup 2016-17 on the final day. ROI s stalwarts Pujara and Saha came to the team’s rescue when they were struggling at 63 for 4.
