A Mumbai Court on Wednesday extended Gurunath Meiyappan‘s police custody to May 31.
This comes a day after, arrested Bollywood actor Vindoo Dara Singh‘s police custody was extended by a court on after the Mumbai Police presented him on Tuesday.
Earlier, the Mumbai Crime Branch brought Vindoo and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President N Srinivasan’s son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan face-to-face during interrogation to get more evidence in the Indian Premier League 2013 spot-fixing saga.
Times Now reported that the Mumbai Police is also looking to establish links between Vindoo and Pakistani umpire Asad Rauf, who allegedly took gifts from the Bollywood actor.
