Harbhajan Singh goes past Wasim Akram in all-time leading wicket-takers in Test cricket

Harbhajan Singh picked up 415th wicket when he dismissed Imrul Kayes for 72in India against Bangladesh one-off Test, Day Five at Fatullah. He has now gone past Wasim Akram to become the ninth highest wicket-taker of all time. Harbhajan is making a comeback for India after a gap of over two years. Harbhajan made his debut for India against Australia in 1998 against Australia. He formed a formidable partnership with leg-spinner Anil Kumble in the early and late 2000s. He is India’s third highest wicket-taker for India after Kumble (619) and Kapil Dev (434). Harbhajan will want to play the next series against South Africa.
