Harbhajan Singh, Manpreet Gony refused Vindoo Dara Singh's offers: Mumbai Police

Vindoo Dara Singh is spilling the beans with regards to his alleged involvement in the spot-fixing controversy that has marred the Indian Premier League (IPL), 2013. The actor has said that he approached India players Harbhajan Singh and Manpreet Singh Gony, but they weren’t tempted by the offers.

Bollywoodlife.com reported that Vindoo told the Mumbai Police that the bookies had hatched a master plan for the IPL 2014. Chandresh Jain aka Jupiter, a bookie, had handed Vindoo the task of convincing the cricketers who were his friends. However, Harbhajan and Gony did not yield to his plans.

Vindoo also revealed that another player was approached for the next season. The Police haven’t disclosed the identity of that player.

Jain was in touch with the Chennai Super Kings boss Gurunath Meiyappan, who was arrested by the Mumbai Police recently for his alleged role in the saga. The bookie was also in contact with a hotelier whose codename is Victor.
