Harbhajan Singh to launch cricket academy in Jalandhar

Indian off spinner Harbhajan Singh is set to follow footsteps of his fellow cricketers Yuvraj Singh and Virender Sehwag to open a cricket academy in Jalandhar.

According to a report in Daily Bhaskar, the construction for the project has already begun. The academy spans over 10 acres at Suranussi in Jalandhar. It has been named, ‘Harbhajan Singh Institute of Cricket .

Vikram Sidhu, the coordinator of the academy has revealed that the academy will comprise of six wickets with green tops.

It is believed that the construction work will end in January next year. The academy is set to start functioning once the annual exams of the students are over next year.

Also it is rumoured that the inauguration ceremony of the academy would be attended by Yuvraj Singh and Ashish Nehra.
