Australia vs South Africa 2014: Hashim Amla and Quinton de Kock bring up 50-run partnership for opening wicket

Openers Hashim Amla and Quinton de Kock put up a 50-run opening stand during the 5th ODI for South Africa against Australia at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). Amla scored 17 off 25 while de Kock scored 27 off 35 to bring up the stand. South Africa currently are 51 for no loss at the end of mandatory powerplay of 10 overs.

South Africa were shaky initially with both the openers surviving few close chances and calls. However, it took only a couple of overs to settle them down. Australia have so far used four fast bowlers in the form of Josh Hazlewood, Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc and James Faulkner.
