South Africa have reached tea on Day Dour at 40 for 1 after Hashim Amla and Temba Bavuma block their way through the second session against India. South Africa therefore need 441 runs more to win.  Amla took 46 balls to get off the mark, but Bavuma at the other end is playing his shots and blocking the good deliveries. India started off with their fast bowlers Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav. After a brief spell, Virat Kohli immediately switched to his spinners. South Africa have only added 35 runs in the second session. India started the day with a lead of 403-run lead and eventually declared after Ajinkya Rahane scored his second century of the match to take India to 267 for 5, thereby setting South Africa a target of 481.  Live Cricket Scorecard: India vs South Africa 2015 4th Test at Delhi

India started the day in commanding position with Kohli batting on 83 and Rahane on 52. Kohli sadly fell 12 runs short of his 12th Test century as he was trapped in front for 88 off the bowling of Kyle Abbott. Wriddhiman Saha then came out to bat alongside Rahane. Rahane shifted gears after Kohli’s dismissal as India were pushing for a declaration. Rahane became only the fifth Indian to score twin centuries in a match after Vijay Hazare, Rahul Dravid, Sunil Gavaskar and Kohli. India managed to pick up the wicket of Dean Elgar for four before the lunch interval. Elgar pushed at a ball outside off, which took the edge and went straight to Rahane at first slip off Ravichandran Ashwin. India have not added to their wicket tally in the second session, but will look to end the day on a high and pick up a few more wickets.

India scored 334 in their first innings, courtesy of 127 from Rahane and 56 by Ashwin. Kyle Abbott was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up five wickets. In reply, South Africa were bundled out for just 121, with Ravindra Jadeja starring with five wickets to his name. In the second innings Morne Morkel struck with three wickets to restrict India to a certain level. India had won the toss on Day One and elected to bat first. India lead the series 2-0.
