Devastation struck at Hove in the form of David Willey when he laundered Michael Yardy for 34 runs in just one over enroute to his innings of 100 of 40 balls which was studded with 10 sixes and seven boundaries.

It was the first-quarter finals of the NatWest T20 blast, which was played between Northants and Sussex. Willey played a blinder that will go down in the history books as one of the greatest knocks in the shortest format. After winning the toss, Northants put Sussex into bat and they ended up scoring 165 for 7 on board. Sussex romped home with 24 balls to spare and seven wickets still in the kitty.
