The first T20 International between Hong Kong and Nepal was abandonedw tihout a bowl being bowled. The match was delayed due to a wet outfield before the weather forced the umpires to call off the match.

The Hong Kong, Nepal teams are in Sri Lanka for the series to be hosted at Dambulla. According to schedule, Nepal and Hing Kong will play a three-match T20I series followed by a 50-over match after which Hong Kong will play two matches against Sri Lanka cricket XI.

Both teams are yet to receive their One-Day International status, hence the only ODI between them won’t be considered as an international match.
