I want to play the way he plays his innings," he told reporters on Friday.<br /> <br /> The second highest run-scorer in the season thus far behind <a href="/tags/Saurashtra/post" target="_blank">Saurashtra</a>'s <a href="/tags/Ravindra-Jadeja/post" target="_blank">Ravindra Jadeja</a>, Singh has garnered 619 runs in the five matches he has played, including two centuries and one double hundred.<br /> <br /> The 22-year-old batsman, who became the fifth Indian to score a double century on first-class debut, rated his knock of 213 as the best he has played so far in the ongoing Ranji season.<br /> <br /> "The knock in the first match is very special. There was a bit of pressure and it was also my debut."<br /> <br /> The Patiala-born player said he gained in confidence after the double ton and his 158 against Bengal in the next match was a good effort on a green-top in <a href="/tags/Mohali/post" target="_blank">Mohali</a>.<br /> <br /> "I gained confidence after that knock but I am treating all matches as new. The next match (against Bengal) was good. It was a green wicket and difficult for players."<br /> <br /> The youngster said he would like to display his batting skills in the cash-rich Indian Premier League.<br /> <br /> "I want to play in <a href="/tags/IPL/post" target="_blank">IPL</a>. If I play well in the domestic formats, then I will be selected for that. Nobody will say no to play in IPL. If a franchise selects me, I will play for them. I am not thinking about the players' auction now. I am just focusing on the Ranji Trophy match," he said.<br /> <br /> The right-hander is here for the first time but is determined to give his best against hosts <a href="/tags/Mumbai/post" target="_blank">Mumbai </a>in their next match that starts on Saturday.<br /> <br /> "Wicket is different over here but I am playing for the first time in Mumbai. I have come to Mumbai for the first time. Let's see what happens tomorrow but I will give my 100 per cent," he maintained.
