T20 World Cup 2026 schedule announced: The 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup was the tenth edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka from 7 February to 8 March 2026. Tournament matches played in 8 different venues.

The Sri Lanka had previously hosted the 2012 competition. A total number of matches played in tournament is 55.

India-Pakistan match in neutral venue

After their matches in the Asia Cup 2025, the two teams will face each other again in the T20 World Cup. This match will be held at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. India and Pakistan are placed in the same group, along with the USA, Netherlands, and Namibia.

India and Pakistan will be played in Colombo on February 15.

India’s first group match will be against the USA in Mumbai on February 7, which will also be the second match of the T20 World Cup. India will then face Namibia on February 12 in Delhi, followed by the high-voltage encounter against Pakistan. The Indian team will play its final group-stage match against the Netherlands on February 18 in Ahmedabad. Each team will play three group-stage matches.

In India Super 8 matches will be played in Ahmedabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai and Delhi. In Sri Lanka Kandy, Colombo, and Colombo.

Group A teams:

India, Pakistan, Netherlands, USA, and Namibia.

Group B teams:

Sri Lanka, Australia, Zimbabwe, Oman, and Ireland.

Group C teams:

England, West Indies, Bangladesh, Italy and Nepal.

Group D teams:

New Zealand, Afghanistan, South Africa, UAE, and Canada.

The 2026 T20 World Cup is scheduled from February 7 to March 8 and will be jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka. Pakistan will play its matches in Colomo, Colombo or Kandy. The tournament format remains similar to the 2024 edition held in the USA and the West Indies. The 20 teams are divided into four groups of five each. The top two teams from every group will qualify for the Super 8 stage, where they will be further divided into two groups of four. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, followed by the final.
