The news that Sachin Tendulkar had came had broken in the morning itself. He was called in for the presentation too. He got the biggest cheer of them all. He was called to give Man of the Match and Player of the series awards. Not surprisingly, it did not miss social media.

Australia were brilliant in the game when they outplayed the Black Caps to win the game by 7 wickets. They received the ICC World Cup trophy from the ICC Chairman. Australia beat New Zealand by 7 wickets in ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 Final, win World Cup for fifth time
