Kyle Coetzer became the fourth Scottish batsman to fall in the Pool A encounter against England, shortly after Preston Mommsen fell for 26. Richard Berrington, the last threatening batsman fell soon after. Almost all batsmen have fallen to needlessly hurried shots. Earlier England put 303 runs on the board after getting a brilliant start by Moeen Ali who smashed 128 off 107 balls. Ali and Bell put up a record 172-run partnership but the other English batsmen failed to capitalise.
