Perth: Steven Smith, the Australian batsman, was hit in the nets in Perth ahead of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 clash against Afghanistan. Australia are due to take Afghanistan on Wednesday in a crucial game as they are coming off a defeat to New Zealand and a rained off game against Bangladesh. Michael Clarke, the Australian captain, said in the press conference that Smith is fine. However, he did not announce the side for the game on Wednesday.
