ICC Cricket World Cup trophy displayed in Shikhar Dhawan's former school in Delhi
Shikhar Dhawan is currently playing a tri-series in Australia and England down under.
To the delight of school children and cricket fans, ICC Cricket World Cup Trophy was displayed in Shikhar Dhawan's alma mater, St. Marks Senior Secondary Public. Having displayed the trophy at the school today, Star Sports, the official broadcaster for the upcoming quadrennial extravaganza, reinforced its commitment of bringing fans closer to the sport and its heroes, through a tour of the World Cup trophy in India.
Dhawan is currently playing a tri-series in Australia, which also features England. He has mot had a good series so far and has gotten himself out in the very first over of both the matches. India will have to win both of their remaining matches to have any chance of playing in the finals at Perth on February 1. Whether Dhawan can retain his place in those matches is a big question.
