Ryan Campbell, 44-year-old Hong Kong wicketkeeper (who has also played for Australia) has become the oldest cricketer to play in a Twenty20 international (T20I) game. He has also become the oldest cricketer to make his T20I debut. He achieved this feat during ICC World T20 2016 match against Zimbabwe played on March 9, 2016 at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Jamtha, Nagpur, India. Campbell’s exact age is 44 years and 30 days (at the time of reporting for this match). Second oldest cricketer to have played in a T20I is Mohammad Tauqir of UAE. Tauqir was 43 years and 179 days old when he played in a T20I. It was in a July 2015 match against Scotland at Edinburgh. Tauqir is second in the list of players who have been the oldest when they made their T20I debut. Former Australian wicketkeeper-batsman Brad Hogg played in a T20I at the age of 43 years and 45 days and held the record for that time. Oldest Sri Lankan cricketer to play a T20I is Sanath Jayasuriya. He was 41 years 360 days old, the oldest to play a T20I at the time of making this record. Indian batting legend Rahul Dravid made his T20I debut when he was 38 years and 232 days old. It makes him the oldest T20I debutant from India. Rafatullah Mohmand of Pakistan at 39 years 20 days is the oldest Pakistani to have made his T20I debut. In the list of oldest T20I cricketers; Hong Kong has three players whereas UAE and Canada have two each. There is one cricketer from Sri Lanka, Australia and Kenya.
