New Zealand skipper and opening batsman, Brendon McCullum was dismissed for mere eight by Tinashe Panyangara in the warm-up tie against Zimabawe at the Bert Sutcliffe Oval in Lincoln on Monday. Currently, New Zealand are nine for the loss of a wicket as Martin Guptill is batting on one and Kane Williamson joins him.

Earlier, New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first. Zimbabwe’s Brendan Taylor opted out to play in the warm-up tie. The warm-tie is an unofficial match and could feature all the members from the 15-member squad. However, only 11 players could take the field at a time.
