Injured South African players JP Duminy and Quinton de Kock have been recovering well from their respective injuries in order to get fit for the World Cup, which gets underway on 14 February in Australia and New Zealand.

All-rounder Duminy said that his plan was to come back on Friday for the first one-day internationals against West Indies and his knee had been holding up pretty well, adding that last 10 days had probably been the most vigorous in terms of rehab, Sport24 reported.

He further said that he would try and play every game in the ODI series and would have to assess it game by game as it’s important to manage his knee around games.

Meanwhile, De Kock said that he was actually recovering quite fast and should be fully fit very soon, adding that he had been running full sprints since yesterday.
