Pakistan’s captain Misbah-Ul-Haq is quietly confident about his team’s chances at the ICC World Cup 2015.

As posted on the official icc-cricket.com, he believes that the format of the tournament allows teams an opportunity to find their feet, although he recognizes the magnitude of their opening game against India at Adelaide cannot be overstated. Furthermore he hopes that his side can draw inspiration from and replicate the efforts of the triumphant 1992 Pakistan team who have been immortalized  forever,

He was quoted  as saying: “The best of the best in ODIs assemble once in four years at the World Cup, and this is exactly what makes the World Cup such a special and unique event, not only for the players but also for the fans around the world.With just 100 days remaining to the start of the tournament, the Pakistan cricket side looks forward to being part of an event, which has been participated in and won by some of the most iconic and legendary cricketers.”
