UAE thrash Nepal by 102 runs

United Arab Emirates made great beginning to the ICC World Cup 2015 qualifying round by beating Nepal with a margin of 102 runs.
Top order batsman Shaiman Anwar starred for the UAE team by essaying a fine knock of 109 off a mere 96 deliveries to take his team to a challenging total of 297, as reported by Stuff.co.NZ.
The veteran took his time early on, but after going past the half-century mark uped the ante. He took a heavy toll on Nepal bowlers by smashing as many as eight sixes and eight boundaries during his great knock. Anwar stitched a a 145-run fourth wicket stand with Swapnil Patil, who incidentally went on to score a crucial knock of 74.
Nepal was never in the game and were bowled out for just 195. Sharad Vesawkar showed some fight by scoring a half-century for them.
