West Indian captain Darren Sammy is in favour of playing an extra spinner in form of Samuel Badree in their Super Eights clash of World T20 against New Zealand.
Sammy said, “There’s a bit of possibility that Badree could play. It’s horses for courses.
“If it is dry like it is on Monday he stands a good chance of playing.”
Despite the struggle against the Sri Lankan spinners, Sammy is confident of batsmen coming good in the upcoming matches of the tournament.
He was quoted by Reuters as saying, “At the start of the tournament the ball was coming through but as the tournament went on we expected the pitches in Sri Lanka to have low and slow turn type of wickets.
“We have enough experience in the dressing room to adapt to such conditions.”
