Prior to the super-10 stage of World T20 2016, both India and New Zealand played two warm-up matches each. India and New Zealand won their first warm-up match before losing the second to South Africa and England respectively. Although India lost the warm-up match by just four runs, New Zealand got thrashed at the hands of England which can affect the psychologically. However, Williamson-led New Zealand will keep that loss off their mind when they enter the Nagpur ground to face the 2007 World T20 champions.
