.Former Indian cricketer and current head coach of the team Gautam Gambhir is facing heavy criticism after the poor performance of the Indian team under his guidance.
The head coach of the Indian team, Gautam Gambhir, is facing a large amount of criticism after team South Africa’s dominating defeat over India in the Kolkata test.
However, many supporters of the Indian team have started demanding the exit of Gautam Gambhir from the responsibility of the head coach and appointing some more deserving ones.
However, a page on X called Iceland Cricket, which is known for his sarcastic and mocking statements or comments, also shocked the world as they made a controversial dig at Indian head coach Gautam Gambhir as they wrote
“To all our fans, no, we will not be inviting Gautam Gambhir to coach our national team. This position has already been filled, and we have won 75 percent of our matches in 2025.”
However, after Gautam Gambhir was appointed as the head coach of the team. Everything would be the golden chance of Team India’s rise as its aggressive style and winning mindset might take India in a new direction. But, things got the opposite.
First team India’s loss at home against New Zealand by 0-3. On the other hand, one more disappointment as the Indian team’s dominating defeat against Australia by 1-3 and now one more against South Africa on home soil.
