While an entry to the record books was commendable, that was not the only thing Imam s hundred achieved. In an interview with Geo TV, Imam has opened up about the aftermath of his memorable achievement: After I scored the century I received calls and messages of congratulations from around 300-400 female fans. My social media was [flooded]. Finally I switched off my mobile internet. Not all debut centurions don glasses on a boyish face, you see.

Imam, nephew of Inzamam-ul-Haq, had some other confessions: I was driving when my brother broke the good news [of being selected] to me. I couldn t think what to do. I kept thanking God ... I hadn t even imagined scoring a century on debut. I m happy I could be of use to the team. I m thankful to all my fans for their encouragement.

Imam is also a self-declared movie fan. However, his greatest dream involves cricket: In any format, I want to win a World Cup for my team. It s my childhood dream.
