IND v ZIM 3rd T20I Live Update: India won by 23 runs

India has showed amazing show of skillset as the World Champion team has won yet another match against Zimbabwe. India won by 23 runs, Zimbabwe 159 for 6.

Third ball of 16th over, Rinku Singh catches yet another ball. Floated delivery on a length wide outside off, Mandande goes for a leg sweep but gets a top-edge. The ball flied towards deep square leg where Rinku moves to his left to take an easy catch.

Second ball of 14th over, Shivam Dube sent a short ball down the leg, which Madande pulls over the long leg for a six, taking the team total to over 100 runs.

Since the start, Zimbabwe was not looking good in their fielding game, now they are seen being slow in their game with the bat as well. With 13 overs completed, the team has only managed to grab 86 runs for 5 wickets.

Last ball of 6th over, Washington Sundar tossing it just outside off, lured Jonathan into a drive. He makes minimal foot movement and an outside edge is hit. Riyan Parag doesn’t make any mistake at the slip and catches the ball.

First ball of the second over, Avesh Khan sends the ball on a short-ish length. Madhevere hops but is not able to counter the bounce. he cuts it towards extra cover where Abhishek Sharma pouches the ball easily.

After a big fumble by fielder on the rope, dropping a catch right on the edge at the deep mid-wicket, Muzarbani compensates for the ball as on the very next ball Gaikwad is out. Muzarabani to Shubhman Gill, OUT! Caught by Sikandar Raza. With the ball sent quick towards the outside off, Gill tries to get under it to send it over to mid-off but doesn’t get his timing right and skies it up. Raza comes blazing from the mid-off and takes a good catch. Shubhman Gill 66 off 49.

With a easy boundary by Shubhman towards the left of short third, Shubhman gill completes his 50 runs in the match. First half-century of the series for gill. With not performing good in his previous two matches, Gill has somewhat redeemed his image.

On a delivery to the outside off, Shubhman Gill was ready for it. Gill shows his movement of legs and pulls a big sweep across the boundary over the corner for a six.

On a short ball, Abhishek tried sending it over mid wicket. He has tried this shot plenty of times in the IPL, but this time it was to no avail as the ball went straight to Marumani’s hands for an effortless catch. Though he scored 100 runs in his previous match, he went back with just 10 runs in this one.

With 10 overs of the match completed, India is at 80 for 1. For Abhishek Sharma and Shubhman gill seem to be slow in their game for this match.

Sikandar Raza to Yashasvi Jaiswal, caught by Brian Bennett. In his attempt to shove a reverse sweep, Yashasvi sends it to the back, where Bennett makes no mistake in catching the ball. A much needed breakthrough finally comes Zimbabwe’s way. Jaiswal walks back for 36.

With a short and a wide ball, Shubhman sends it behind the square towards third-man. The fielder fumbles a direct pick and ends up in a boundary for India. IND 49/0 in 4 overs

With a short ball on the body, Jaiswal gets top edge for a pull. The ball goes high in the air right above the keeper and goes just beyond the boundary rope.

Third ball of second over, Shubhman sends the ball high up in the air. With fielders coming to catch the flying ball, 2 players missed the catch, letting Shubhman off with mercy. Right in the next ball, Shubhman sends it off with a splendid Six.

There is some grass and are some cracks which signal that the pitch is pretty dry. This could result as a good pitch for batting, but in the second innings it could get tricky if the sun is out and bakes the surface.
