India vs Bangladesh: A series win against Bangladesh is going to secure India ‘s place in the standings of World Test Championship (WTC).

The Men in Blue looked to have been in deep trouble at one stage when they got restricted to 144/6. However, the 195-run partnership between Jadeja and Ashwin saw India finish the day on a high at 339/6 after 80 overs. Ashwin is playing on 102 while Jadeja is playing on 86.
The veteran Indian all-rounder first steadied the Indian innings with Ravindra Jadeja and then went on to score an amazing ton to power India over the 300-run mark just before the end of day’s play. The 200-run partnership between the pair may also come up before the end of day’s play.
A massive six from Ashwin takes the Men in Blue over the 300-run mark in the 73rd over. It also brings up the 150-run partnership between the duo of Ashwin and Jadeja. The former is playing on 88 while the latter is playing on 65.
The Indian all-rounder reaches his half-century after facing 73 deliveries. He has so far scored 5 boundaries and a six in his knock. India now 272/6 after 67.1 overs.
Jadeja and Ashwin have done an excellent job against the Bangladesh bowlers and have brought up their 100-run stand. Ashwin has taken the role of the aggressor, scoring 54 runs in 61 balls.
Veteran player Ravichandran Ashwin becomes the second batter after Jaiswal to score a half-century in the Indian innings. Thanks to his impressive stand with Jadeja, India is now close to crossing the 250-run mark.
The partnership between Ashwin and Jadeja has already reached the 64-run mark and has now taken India to 208/6 after 53 overs.
The Indian all-rounder was given leg-before-wicket by the umpire on a delivery by Mahmud, however the former took the review which saved him as snicko showed a that the ball had clearly hit the bat before hitting the pad. Thus, the umpire had to reverse his decision.

The opening pair of Rohit and Jaiswal have so far found it hard to score runs off the Bangladesh pace duo of Taskin and Mahmud as they are bowling some absolute peach of deliveries.
The Bangladesh team appeals for a leg-before wicket on Rohit, however the umpire doesn’t give it as out. Bangladesh’s review also goes unsuccessful as the Indian captain somehow survives.
