Day 2 abandoned due to rain

The second day of the Kanpur Test has now been washed out due to rain. This announcement was expected to come sooner or later and it has finally come as there are no signs of the rain stopping anytime soon.

Neither has it been raining nor been drizzling, covers are still on and super soppers are still running on the covers.

First session has ended without a ball being bowled

It has not poured for a while, but the rain covers are still on the field. As the lunch time comes close, the first session has been declared gone.

Rain has stopped

The drizzle has stopped, but heavier rain shower is expected in a short amount of time. Hence the covers are not being removed as of now.
