The weather is too cold in England, making it not favourable for training. This will be interesting to witness whether Mahmood will get the visa and he plays in the T20 series. There is no official update from the side of the England Cricket Board (ECB).

England will play against India in a 5-match T20 series, set to begin January 22 in Kolkata. After that, the rest of the matches will be played in Chennai, Rajkot, Pune, and Mumbai. After this T20 series, a 3-match ODI series is also scheduled next month. This tour by England is important for India in order to prepare for Champions Trophy.
