Hockey World Cup 2023, India vs Spain Highlights, Rourkela: India have started the World Cup on a winning note. Amit Rohidas gave India an early lead in the first quarter while Hardik Singh helped India extend their lead to 2-0 at half-time. The second half saw India play the same brand of hockey but Abhishek’s poor tackle in the final quarter had him out of the game for 10 minutes. India played with 10 men for 10 minutes in the final quarter and came perilously close to conceding a goal, if not for the missed penalty corners by Spain. The defence bailed India out of trouble as the hosts maintained their 2-0 lead against Spain. IND 2-0 ESP (FULL TIME)
