India A lose Cheteshwar Pujara at lunch in chase of 315 against West Indies A on final day of 1st unofficial Test

India A reached 62 for the loss of three wickets against West Indies A at lunch on the final day of the first unofficial four-day Test match at Mysore on Saturday.

India A reached 62 for the loss of three wickets against West Indies A at lunch on the final day of the first unofficial four-day Test match at Mysore on Saturday.
 
Left-arm spinner Nikita Miller struck twice in a slow start by India. Chasing a target of 315 on the final day, the hosts were jolted by the wicket of skipper Cheteshwar Pujara at the stroke of lunch. Pujara was out leg-before to Miller scoring just 17 runs.
 
India lost their first wicket in the form of Lokesh Rahul who was caught by Leon Johnson off Miller for nine. Opener Jiwanjot Singh along with Pujara steadied the innings but Singh was dismissed for 24 by Veerasammy Permaul.
 
To recap the developments in the match, the West Indies A had posted a strong total of 429 to which India A could manage just 245. With a hefty lead of 184, the Windies declared their innings at 130 for three.
