The India A team will replace an ‘injured’ South Africa A in the 4th match of trianguler series against Australia A on Monday at Chennai. Initially the South African team were scheduled to play this game. But on Sunday, during their clash against Indian team, few of their players got dehydrated and went out of the field. The situation was so bad that South Africa A ran out of reserves and had to call their video analyst and Mandeep Singh, who is a member of the Indian squad, for fielding. The match between the Australian and South African team will be played on August 11. VIDEO: Mandeep Singh fields for South Africa A vs India A at Chennai
South Africa A on the field literally felt the heat in Chennai and as Mayank Agarwal and Unmukt Chand got steady and confident against the slower bowlers through the innings, the game became one-sided. Agarwal scored an attacking century, and his opening partner and captain Chand scored 90 before falling to a rank long hop off Dean Elgar when the result of the match was beyond question. The ordeal ended in the 38th over, as India took an eight-wicket victory and gained a bonus point. READ: All-round India A thrash South Africa A by eight wickets in Chennai
