Delhi Districts Cricket Association (DDCA) Secretary Sunil Dev was named manager of the Indian team for the upcoming tour of England starting June 26.

Dev has been the team’s manager on two previous tours. He was the manager when the team toured South Africa in 1996-97 before taking the responsibility once again during the triumphant ICC World T20 2014 campaign in the same country.

India’s tour of England will start with a couple of two-day warm-up games from June 26 before the team takes on the host side in a five-match Test series. The series is scheduled from July 9 to August 19.

This will be followed by a five-match One-Day International (ODI) series from August 25 to September 5. The two teams will then face off in a Twenty20 (T20) match on September 7.
