India bowls UAE out for 102 in ICC World Cup 2015

Perth: If the first two games reflected the fighting spirit of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), India exposed their flaws during their ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 clash at the WACA, Perth. The Indian bowlers had field day as they literally bullied the UAE batsmen into submission and had them bowled out for 102. Ravichandran Ashwin registered his best figures in One-Day Internationals (ODIs) of four for 25. This game will be forgotten though, considering the Australia-New Zealand humdinger earlier in the day. Live Scorecard: India vs UAE in ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 at Perth
To begin with, Mohammad Tauqir won the toss and chose to bat first, to the disappointment of the crowd. The attacking intent from India was clear as they troubled the UAE batsmen with bounce. Even Bhuvneshwar Kumar was getting bounce and used it well as the UAE batsmen found it difficult to deal with. Umesh Yadav in particular was menacing for them. He beat then on numerous occasions with his exta-pace. They were not able to connect on more than an occasion. Andri Berenger and Amjad Ali, the openers were out to short deliveries. Krishna Chandran had a laboured stay in the middle with his 27-ball four. Khurram Khan showed some fight, but with wickets falling at the other end, he could not do much. Perhaps, the only exciting moment for the crowd came late in the innings when Mohammad Naveed came out to bat. Off his first ball, he cleared his front-foot and smashed Ravindra Jadeja for a six over long-on. Those were the only runs he could score. Shaiman Anwar, the centurion of the previous game, was the lone warrior towards the end, and cut a lone figure in the middle as his partners deserted him. However, he found some good support in Manjula Guruge as UAE extended their score over 100. ICC Cricket World Cup 2015: POINTS TABLE
