Stand-in India skipper for the fourth and final Test against Australia at Adelaide, Virender Sehwag said that his side failed to execute their plans properly in the match which his side lost by a huge margin of 298 runs.

“We have to plan well and we have to execute well. We didn’t do well as openers. It is unfair we are all trying but it is not happening,” he said.

Sehwag defended the Indian coaching staff along with the head coach Duncan Fletcher, saying it’s the players who have brought disappointment.

“Player let us down not support staff they are we are very good. He (Duncan Fletcher) is a good coach. When you can’t execute then nothing works,” he was quoted as saying by NDTV.
