It was raining a while ago, but only passing showers. We should have the game starting anytime soon!

TOSS: WICB President’s XI win toss, elect to bat against India!

The Indians will be looking to take this final tour match as an opportunity to give each one of their players a chance to get ready for the Test series, as the hot and humid conditions in the Caribbean will also be a good test for the young Indian side.

In the first tour match held last week, both the tourists as well as the home side had a good run. A two-day game did not warrant lot of runs, but for India, KL Rahul, Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma pushed for their selections with half-centuries. Unfortunately, Virat Kohli, Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane could not make most of the opportunity.

For the WICB President’s XI, Rajendra Chandrika scored 69 but Shai Hope was the star of their innings. Hope clobbered a fine century, scoring 118 off 229 balls with 15 boundaries to let the selectors know about his form. Unfortunately, the West Indies selectors did not see much in him as he was excluded for the first Test.
