Murali Vijay has started Day Four on a positive note against England at Lord’s. The right-handed opener has been in great form through the tour and though wickets have fallen in India’s second innings, Vijay has remained solid and that has been a very encouraging sign for India. At present, India lead by 168 runs.
Vijay has played a few shots through third-man for fours, but there has been no move from Alastair Cook to plug the flow of runs. The runs continued there even as many cricketing minds suggested that Cook should place a man there. But, the shot that stood out from Vijay was a straight drive for a four. On the other hand, skipper MS Dhoni has been very watchful and has been leaving deliveries outside the off-stump.
