The India U19 team has been selected by the Junior Cricket Committee for the forthcoming ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup, which will begin on December 12 in Dubai. For the eight-team competition, young opening batsman Ayush Mhatre has been selected as the team’s captain, with Vihaan Malhotra serving as his deputy. In the meantime, the squad also includes other promising players such as Vedant Trivedi and Vaibhav Suryavanshi.
Abhigyan Kundu will be the main wicketkeeper. Harvansh Singh has also been selected as a backup wicketkeeper. Henil Patel, Naman Pushpak, and Khilan Patel are other well-known members of the team. The selectors have added four players as cover in addition to the 15-person roster.
