Afghanistan have lost their first wicket as Nawroz Mangal was bowled by Mohammed Shami. Mangal chased a wide one in the sixth over and dragged it back onto the stumps. Afghanistan had started off very well and and had thrown Shami offline, but he hit back with this wicket.

Noor Ali Zadran has been in good touch so far and has helped Afghanistan off to a good start. He has been hitting the boundaries and Mangal was merely working the strike over. Even though they have lost the early wicket, they are still in good control of the game.
