Rohit Sharma completed his century with a six against Afghanistan in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 between India and Afghanistan at Adelaide Oval. Rohit hit four sixes and nine fours to complete his century. He is not out on 103 from 94 balls. India were 193 for the loss of two wickets at the end of 31 overs.
Earlier, Suresh Raina was run out by Afghanistan captain Mohammad Nabi. He scored 75 from 71 balls. Rohit and Raina put up a partnership of 158 runs. The duo came together after India lost two quick wickets in the form of Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli. Rohit Sharma has gone past his half-century and Raina at the other end is nearing his fifty. Both batsmen have spent good amount of time at the crease and will look to get big scores with the ICC Cricket World Cup just around the corner. Earlier India had won the toss and elected to bat first. Both India and Afghanistan will be testing their entire squad as all the players are fir and rearing to go.
