Suresh Raina brought up his half-century off 55 balls. Raina hit four fours and one six during the India-Afghanistan ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 warm-up match at Adelaide. India were 141 for the loss of two wickets from 24.2 overs.
Earlier, Rohit Sharma brings up his half-century off 49 balls and his third wicket partnership with Raina has put India in a commanding position against Afghanistan at Adelaide. India were in a spot of bother, but Rohit, who opened with Shikhar Dhawan has looked solid and looks set for a huge score. Rohit scored a century in the recently concluded tri-series against Australia, but was injured immediately after that innings, which kept him out for the rest of the series. This is his chance to justify his selection in the squad. There have been questions if he is best suited to open the innings ot bat lower down the order.
