India vs Australia 2013: Michael Clarke goes past 7000 Test runs

Australian captain Michael Clarke has become the 10th Australian to score 7000 Test runs. He achieved the milestone during the first innings of the first Test against India at Chennai.

Australian captain Michael Clarke has become the 10th Australian to score 7000 Test runs. He achieved the milestone during the first innings of the first Test against India at Chennai.

Clarke took over the captaincy a couple of years ago and has been in brilliant form since. In fact, his returns during 2012 were outstanding as he had four scores of over 200 in the year.

Clarke achieved the milestone in the land where he made his debut make in 2004. He announced his arrival to Test cricket with a fantastic knock of 151.
