Wriddhiman Saha has been dismissed for a duck in the fourth Test between India and Australia in Sydney. He was leg-before on Day Five as India were chasing 349 for victory, The wicket of Virat Kohli has opened the flooodgates for Australia and they are trying to make serious inroads here. India are now 208 for six and in danger of losing. Ajinkya Rahane is in the middle.

Saha was playing Lyon, who pitched the ball a bit outside the off-stump. The ball stayed very low and Saha was on the backfoot. He was hit plumb in front and was dismissed leg-before. Ravichandran Ashwin is in the middle and has joined Rahane. They need to bat out the remaining 18 overs to ensure India are through to safety.

Earlier on Day One, Australia won the toss and chose to bat first on a good looking wicket. The only change in their team was Mitchell Starc replacing Mitchell Johnson. India made four changes to their team. MS Dhoni’s retirement allowed Wriddhiman Saha to don the gloves. Suresh Raina, Rohit and Bhuvneshwar Kumar came in place of Cheteshwar Pujara, Shikhar Dhawan and Ishant Sharma. Rahul managed to hold on to his spot. Australia scored 572 for two declared and in reply Virat Kohli and KL Rahul hit centuries. India scored 475. In reply, Australia declared on 251 for six, leaving India with a target of 349 on the last day.
