Virat Kohli has been dismissed by Josh Hazlewood on Day Five of the fourth Test between India and Australia at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Kohli was dismissed for 46 when he edged and was taken by Shane Watson. India are chasing 349 to win but with Kohli;s dismissal, they are unlikely to pursue it. India are 203 for four and need 146 more to win with a little over 20 overs remaining.

Kohli has been in great touch and continued to play that way here. He was playing well but that one moment and he lost his wicket. Kohli ends the series with a good margin of runs and will be happy with his performance, particularly after the dismal tour to England. This has been a tour to remember for Kohli.

Earlier on Day One, Australia won the toss and chose to bat first on a good looking wicket. The only change in their team was Mitchell Starc replacing Mitchell Johnson. India made four changes to their team. MS Dhoni’s retirement allowed Wriddhiman Saha to don the gloves. Suresh Raina, Rohit and Bhuvneshwar Kumar came in place of Cheteshwar Pujara, Shikhar Dhawan and Ishant Sharma. Rahul managed to hold on to his spot. Australia scored 572 for two declared and in reply Virat Kohli and KL Rahul hit centuries. India scored 475. In reply, Australia declared on 251 for six, leaving India with a target of 349 on the last day.
